London Courier ServicesAs one of London’s leading passenger car and courier brands, London Executive recognises that our work may have a direct or indirect effect on the local, regional and global environment.

We are committed to reducing any harmful effects on the environment and promoting the understanding of sustainability in its broadest context.

Climate change

We have a number of strategies to combat climate change. These include:

Carbon offsetting

  • We use carbon offsetting to offer a carbon neutral journey.
  • London Executive has developed software that calculates each journey’s emissions and converts them into a monetary value, giving our clients the option to offset their carbon emissions on each invoice.

Vehicles

  • We choose modern, low-emission cars that match our performance standards. Our company cars are registered as Cat 5 and fitted with particulate filters.
  • For some time, the London Executive Group has been experimenting with the use of various alternative fuel sources, for example, all of our van courier fleet is factory converted to LPG.
  • We also have one of the largest cycle courier fleets in London.
  • We have a number of hybrid passenger cars on our fleet. Whilst some of these are still in testing phase, we are very confident that, in time, the technology will reach the standards required within our industry.

Waste reduction

For many years now, the London Executive Group of companies has recycled all office paper into packaging material for its international and overnight courier operation. Additional goals include the creation of a paperless office environment by making use of the latest technologies and, where viable, using recycled and refurbished products.

Energy

We believe that energy conservation will be achieved through responsible action and design, from building design and construction incorporating efficient lighting and heating, through to switching off all computers and peripherals at the end of the day.

Relationships

Clients can be assured of a carbon neutral journey whilst travelling with London Executive; suppliers will be encouraged to meet at least the carbon offsetting standards as a minimum.
